Self-Promotion

I wrote an article about small business branding for the LogoWorks newsletter yesterday and it really got me thinking about branding, and specifically, promotion. I act like an expert, but really, I'm not so good at promoting my own stuff. I've worked with designers that now work solely as freelance designers, and I just don't understand where they get the energy. I really ought to promote myself more. I've started looking on craiglist for design gigs and sent some people my portfolio, and either my stuff sucks or I just didn't say the right thing, because I've been getting zero response.

My website is updated with plenty of new favorites for those of you that want hours of looking enjoyment. Critique it and tell me why it's not interesting to potential employers. My guess is that my art style isn't focused enough.

Hmm. This post is kind of a bummer. I think you're great.

I need someone to do the artwork for the book I'll write in the future. You have always been the person I've wanted to do this.

Does that help?

Your illustrations of Primary songs are great too, and yet you doubt.
