When priming the tiller engine, don't accidentally touch the engine.

Thats bad advice. How can you avoid doing something accidentally?

I think I'm officially accident-prone. Or maybe just my left hand is. I've cut the tip off my thumb, smashed the same tip in a weight machine, busted the bird, and now blistered the bejeebus out of the thumb. This all occurred on my left hand. Maybe I should just cut it off and start over.

Just now you're realizing you're accident prone? Which hand did you smash when you ran over my sister?

I kid.

The size of your thumb.

You know what they say about grotesquely enormous thumbs...

that they signify good manners.

I thought that it signified the ability to thoroughly appreciate bad drivers and to demonstrate that appreciation in more than average earnestness.

You lift weights? or were you just pretending and smashed your finger??

Do I work out. What a stupid question. Like I'd have a weight machine and not ever use it, and the one time I do try to use it, I smash my finger in it and then never dare touch it again. That would be just silly.

How cool is that - a perfectly heart shaped burn. It must be Heavenly Fathers way of warning you to be careful in a loving way. Thank heavens you didn't lose your enormous thumb.

Why did Heavenly Father curse me with a hand that 98% thumb?
